Shared IIoT and Automation Competence – LUCOM GmbH Takeover by Kontron AIS GmbH
With effect from September 1st, 2022, Kontron AIS GmbH has taken over LUCOM GmbH to strengthen its portfolio as an IIoT solution provider for industrial software and industrial automation. On September 1st, 2022, the sale of LUCOM GmbH by the exceet Group SCA to Kontron AIS GmbH, a subsidiary of Kontron AG, was officially confirmed. The agreed purchase price amounts to EUR 5 million and includes 100% of the shares and all 22 employees of the company headquartered in Fürth.
For Kontron AIS, the acquisition of LUCOM GmbH is an important strategic step in portfolio expansion and positioning towards becoming an all-in-one IIoT solution provider for industrial software and industrial automation.
